Thiebaud talks about his thinking drawings, these are what he calls his sketches of his artwork, not his final one. His sketches are different because he is trying to figure out where he wants to put the ties on the rack. That's why the final one is different from the sketches. He separates the sketches from the final one to show the process it took to get there. Here are is a picture of my family that I drew. Inside each of our heads describes our personality and what we like to do. There is also a process picture. The pumpkin is my observational art that I drew today.

This past week I learned to observed more about my observational artwork that i'm doing. I learned to really look at the detail on the guitar and how to draw it. I also have engaged and persisted while I was doing online learning, I still did everything without actually being in class.
I watched this video on how to draw a still life with gel pens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omt4WVutG5k This week we worked on testing materials and drawing still life objects. I also learned new techniques on shading. I developed craft by using and trying different materials and shading techniques. I stretched and explored my ability's to try new things by using different things and seeing if I liked them.
As an artist I am starting to try new things out of my comfort zone. This semester I hope to learn how to create an artwork that expresses me and my personality. A risk that I will take this year is using new utinssels. A goal I have is to do a big artwork that is really good.
